SKB iSeries Injection Molded Mil-Standard Waterproof Cases are molded of ultra high-strength polypropylene copolymer resin, featuring a gasket-sealed, water and dust tight, submersible design (MIL-STD 810H) that is resistant to corrosion and impact damage.

Standard features include a molded-in hinge, padlock loops, Trigger Latch® System, snap-down rubber over-molded cushion grip handle, automatic ambient pressure equalization valve (MIL-STD 810H), and resistance to UV, solvents, corrosion, fungus and impact damage (MIL-STD 810H).

Is the SKB 3i-2011 waterproof?

Yes. The 3i-2011 iSeries is IP67 rated and built to MIL-STD 810H. The case is dust tight and submersible up to three feet of water for up to 30 minutes thanks to its gasket-sealed body and ambient pressure equalization valve.

Is the SKB 3i-2011 airline carry-on approved?

Yes. The 3i-2011-7 variant is sized to meet major airline carry-on limits and ships with TSA-acceptable trigger-release latches. Padlock loops accept TSA-compatible locks for checked travel.

What is the difference between the 3i-2011-7, 3i-2011-8, and 3i-2011-10?

Does the SKB 3i-2011 have a warranty?

Yes. SKB-branded hardshell cases carry an unconditional lifetime warranty to the original owner against defects in materials and craftsmanship. If the case body fails in normal use, SKB will repair or replace it for as long as you own it.
